Anhand der Künstler der Black Box Galerie gibt uns Peet Thomsen Einblick in seine Arbeit und seine Erfahrungen mit digitaler und Medienkunst (u.a. Eduardo Kac, UBERMORGEN.COM, Vera Molnar, France Cadet und Pomodoro Bolzano).
Er erläutert, welche Entwicklung die Kunst mit Neuen Medien vollzogen hat und warum es notwendig ist, dass sie von offizieller Seite gefördert und gesammelt wird.

The lecture will focus on artists that Black Box Gallery works with including Eduardo Kac, UBERMORGEN.COM, Vera Molnar, France Cadet and Pomodoro Bolzano. In addition there will be discussion about how new media art has developed and why it is important that it is collected by art institutions.
